I can't tell you how sick I am of the complication around becoming strong and feeling at least 80% awesome most of the time. It's just not that hard. We get so in our head and so in our hearts. We read so much and go so bananas with the SHOULDAS and the WOULDAS and COULDAS. When all along, the problem is that we just don't have a system for strength while having to manage the daily chaos of life.
What happens when your kids are sick or you are sick?

What happens when your kids have yet another snow/wind/rain/wtf day off of school?

The problem with your health is NOT YOU and it is not your level of discipline. Plain and simple, it's that you don't have a system for the inevitable, perhaps daily onslaught of real life. And while the fitness world will tell you to think positive and turn into a die-hard warrior, I call bull shit. The real warrior would systematize the predictable arrival of the unpredictable. This means that you need to have a plan that is your partner and not just your cheerleader.

The Hook uses the effective and efficient method of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) to bring you into the highest level of strength you can imagine. Additionally, unlike other HIIT programs, I don't put your body through exercises that will harm you (like push-ups and crunches), but I use an innovative protocol instead of extension-based core conditioning that will have you getting stronger while also mediating chronic pain patterns.
Who am I? Good question. Courtney Wyckoff, CPT, CES, at your service. I have 15-years of experience in corrective exercise, pelvic rehabilitation, core integration, and biomechanics. For the past 8 years, I have worked exclusively with prenatal and postpartum women, armed with the belief that when a woman is truly strong, she can show up in the world in all the ways she chooses.
You should also know that I have recovered my own body from two autoimmune diseases, severe postpartum depression, PTSD, chronic back pain, and diastasis recti. I am here to help you heal and I know what's possible when you agree to win ugly with me.
